Afrodite International Investments, a subsidiary of Smartbuy
Group, held a press event at Chateau Status on the 13th
December 2007, for the presentation of the company’s
new project – a ski resort in Bansko the Elite Lodge
Ski and Leisure Club, worth 6.3 million Euros. Bansko
is a town in southwestern Bulgaria located at the foothills
of Pirin - the second highest peak in the Balkan Peninsula
at an altitude of 1936m above sea level.
Members of the mass media had the opportunity to be
transported for a short while to moments of pure relaxation
as if they were really inside a chalet in Bulgaria,
within a spectacularly designed setting. On their arrival at the Chateau, they found a beautiful
and impressive scene of 2 massive snow-covered trees
standing charmingly at the entrance, 2 models dressed
in ski suits carrying their ski gear and ready to hit
the slopes, while surrounded by children making snowmen. Guests were welcomed to the Chateau within cozy setting
accompanied by hot chocolate, pancakes and live jazz.
The presentation of the ski resort took place in a
different room, where Mr. Chris Sofroniou, the Group
Managing Director of Smartbuy Group, said a few words
on Bulgaria and particularly on Bansko. Following on,
Mr. Paul Agathocleous, the Group Director of Smartbuy
International Investements presented this unique investment
opportunity. The event concluded with red wine and cheese and the
desire for all participants to actually travel to this
magical place. Elite Lodge Ski and Leisure Club is surrounded by
the forest of the Pirin National Park and enjoys the
most stunning scenery of snow-clouded mountains in
a picturesque mountain hamlet. Each of the 45 delightful apartments for sale, are
fully furnished to the highest standards including
all electrical appliances. Complimenting the spectacular
views, a relaxing evening in front of the fireplace
is ideal after an energetic day out on the slopes.
The ski lodge’s excellent restaurant provides a great
option for owners who are not in the mood to cook.
Before dining in or out, the lobby bar is the perfect
place for an aperitif while the terrace bar is ideal
for light lunches or snacks accompanied by delicious
cocktails and a panoramic view of Bansko’s peaks. For skiers wishing to take a morning off the slopes
and sleep-in they can always enjoy some pampering in
the exclusive Spa & Wellness Centre before hitting
the slopes in the afternoon or even for night-ski. The event was supported by 2 sponsors: Mavros Department
